ABBI KLEIN

LCSW, Executive Director

Abbi (she/they) has been practicing psychotherapy for over a decade in New York City, where she has been integrating her training as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with deep study yoga philosophy and practice, in order to provide a holistic approach to both individual and group therapeutic work.

Her therapeutic emphasis is toward the greater integration of mind and body; using the relationship built to cultivate and understand the interplay between the cognitive, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of one’s Self. In doing so, her goal is to create a supportive space to help people in bringing more authenticity, peace, joy, and fulfillment into their lives. She believes that when one is seen and accepted for who they are, the best of possible worlds can be created.

Abbi holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from New York University with a clinical focus. Some of her postgraduate training includes Gestalt Therapy, Relational Psychoanalysis, Ayurveda for Healthcare Workers, and Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy. Abbi has completed over 500 hours of classroom yoga teacher training, alongside apprenticing as an assistant for five years in the Mysore-style Ashtanga Yoga lineage under her teacher Michael Guiou. These experiences have contributed to her understanding of the ways the energy body impacts our mental health and how our energy flows between us to create experiences of connection or disconnection.

Outside of the therapy room, Abbi loves snowboarding, devouring books, being near trees and bodies of water, and petting all friendly animals she meets.
